Discussion
[edit]Can you give us some more details? Are we just talking built-in functions of pywikipedia, or actual extensions? - Jarry1250 (t, c) 15:05, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- We are talking about interwiki.py and commonscat.py. No extensions and no changes - just ordenary pywikipedia. Sorry that it was not clear. I would like to ensure that changes of interwiki on dawiki is also made on enwiki because it is the main wiki. Therefore need/request botflag on enwiki. I also use my bot to add "commons cat" on new articles on dawiki and the bot would probably automatically add "commons cat" on enwiki too unless I do somthing to stop it. I belive "commons cat" is a good thing so unless you want me to I see no reason to prevent it from adding "commons cat" to enwiki. --MGA73 (talk) 15:42, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Sounds good to me, fwiw. – Quadell (talk) 12:36, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Standard pywikipedia modules? Ok, give it a trial. Approved for trial (25 edits). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. Anomie⚔ 17:46, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Now I have run the test. I found out that my bot does not add {{commons cat}} on enwiki automatic so I removed this from my request. The iw-test can be seen here: Special:Contributions/MGA73bot. Trial complete. --MGA73 (talk) 22:18, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
