- May I request that the bot replaces the fully protected templates with semi protected, instead of ignoring? That would be incredibly useful, as the templates are misleading. Matt/TheFearow (Talk) (Contribs) (Bot) 05:39, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Like pages that aren't fully protected but are semi-protected, and have the fully protected tag? I'll give it a go. Also, the bot won't scan category:semi-protected as those are in that category because they have the templates on them already. Duh (My mistake). Instead it will check Special:logs/protect to check for missed tags. ~ Wikihermit 06:45, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Yeah, I meant ones that have the fully protected tag, and are semi protected, or vice versa, or have one but aren't protected (e.g. if they protection has expired). Apart from that, looks great. Matt/TheFearow (Talk) (Contribs) (Bot) 06:48, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I can't do vice versa; the bot can't edit fully protected pages with semi-protected templates on it. :-( ~ Wikihermit 07:11, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Hmmm, would it be possible to add the following to the talk page instead:

== Protected Template == {{editprotected}} The template on the page says the page is semi-protected, however it is full protected. Please change the templates over. <small>Note: This message was left by a bot. If it was in mistake, please remove this notice.</small> ~~~~
- That would request an admin to change it, and would probably work better. Matt/TheFearow (Talk) (Contribs) (Bot) 07:42, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Withdrawn by operator. User:Madman bum and angel said he could add this to User:MadmanBot as another task, and this would be simpler for me. I plan on making another bot request doing a different task. I'm going to go ahead and withdraw this request. ~ Wikihermit 07:52, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
