- Questions. How does this bot handle things like bundled references? That was one of the huge downfalls of ReferenceExpander, which was disabled in June after an MfD. Does this bot process any kind of citations other than web links? Like books? Is there any way to tag a citation so this bot won't alter it? Where's the prior discussion demonstrating that this bot is desirable? I checked its eight edits, and none of them really broke anything, although it does do the stupid typical thing of putting website names in the

parameter after a pipe or dash (like here or here), which I think is just a Zotero error but no one involved in scripting referencing scripts seems to be willing to address. Folly Mox (talk) 19:11, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Denied. While I see you have some activity on Commons and the Indonesian Wikipedia, you do not seem to be sufficiently familiar with policies and practices here on the English Wikipedia to be ready to be a bot operator here. Among other things, you were not able to properly follow the instructions to properly create this request, nor did you supply sufficient information for us to have any idea what this bot is intended to do. If you want to become a bot operator here, I'd recommend you spend some time as a normal editor first. Anomie⚔ 19:48, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
