Questions:
[edit]Have you read the AMA FAQ?
- Answer: Yes
How would you describe the nature of this dispute? (policy violation, content dispute, personal attack, other)
- Answer: User:RPJ continues to violate policies, and lodge attacks against editors who call him on his violations.
What methods of Dispute Resolution have you tried so far? If you can, please provide wikilinks so that the Advocate looking over this case can see what you have done.
- Answer: I would like to try an RfC, but have no idea how to properly begin one. The "instructions" on the RfC page are confusing to say the least. But I also hope that maybe an advocate can point me in the proper direction.
What do you expect to get from Advocacy?
- Answer: I would at least like some help with initiating an RfC on his behavior. I would also like some advice on if I should simply begin an Arbitration on this user as he has already been blocked 5 times for this behavior.
Summary:
[edit]User:RPJ continues to violate WP:NPOV, WP:NPA, WP:OR and WP:V. When asked to provide sources for his information, he changes the subject to begin debates on the accuracy of the Warren Commission, and claims that I want to delete information I disagree with. No matter how many times I call for reliable sources and explain I don't want to delete information, he wrongfully accuses me of deleting information I disagree with. I am tired of this. The user has been blocked 5 times for his boorish behavior but nothing seems to work. In the best case scenario, I would like this user banned from Wikipedia. However, maybe a stern rebuke from other impartial editors and possibly the arbitration committee will be enough to stop this madness.
- Addendum: I have initiated the RfC against the above user. However, I would still like the guidance of an advocate throughout the RfC process.
