Vlad and Niki is a YouTube channel featuring Russian American-born siblings Vladislav Vashketov (born 26 February 2013), Nikita Vashketov (born 4 June 2015), Christian Vashketov (born 11 September 2019) and Alice Vashketova. Their parents, Sergey Vashketov and Victoria Vashketova,[2][3] originate from Moscow, Russia (formerly as Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic)[4] and run 21 YouTube channels in 18 languages. The children reside in Miami, Florida and occasionally Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[4] Their main channel is the 7th most-viewed and 5th most-subscribed in the world.[5]

History

[edit]

Vlad and Nikita started their YouTube channel on 23 April 2018, prompting their father to quit his sales job to help with brands and licensing based on "Vlad Crazyshow" (stylized as "Joker").[6] Their videos include roleplays, vlogging, and advertising.[7] The channel signed a representation deal with Haven Global, an Australian-based licensing agency, to develop new content, consumer products, and licenses for mobile apps under their brand.[2][8] They also signed a deal with Playmates Toys, a Hong Kong–based manufacturer, to produce toys under their brand.[9] In 2019, the brothers were judged to be the YouTubers making the most money per video at an estimated US$312,000 per video.[10]
