Vamuzo Phesao was a Naga politician. He became the Chief Minister of Nagaland in 1990. His government was dismissed and President's rule was imposed in 1992

Life

Phesao was born in 1938. He married Sano Vamuzo who was a social worker.[1]

He became the Chief Minister of Nagaland in 1990. His government was dismissed and President's rule was imposed in 1992[2][3][4][5]

He died in 2000 and he was given a state funeral. In 2024 his wife was awarded the Padma Shri.[1]
