Utsunomiya University Yoto Campus Station (宇都宮大学陽東キャンパス停留場, Utsunomiya Daigaku Yoto Kyanpasu Teiryūjyō) is a station serving the Utsunomiya Light Rail, located in Utsunomiya. The station number is 06.
Bellmall has purchased the right to choose the secondary name for the station, and the station has the secondary name Bellmall mae (ベルモール前, Berumo-ru mae).[1]
History
[edit]In the light rail's planning phase, the placeholder name for the station was Bellmall mae. However, this name failed the criteria for station names, as it used the name of the existing establishment.[2][3] The station name was changed to the current name on April 23, 2021. On August 26, 2023, the station opened with the Utsunomiya Light Rail.[4][5]
Bellmall has purchased the right to choose the secondary name for the station, and the station has the secondary name Bellmall mae (ベルモール前, Berumo-ru mae).[6]
