Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 04:52, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Calm down brother

[edit]

The gourd dance originated with the Kiowa Tribe, however, many variants of the dance and societies now exist, and it is no longer a solely Kiowa Dance or Society and it not affiliated in modern times with the Kiowa Tribe.

Added to the article to clarify. You know, I hate that people think "Cherokee" means a type of car when it was never the name of the cherokee people -- its borrowed word. This is how you make constructive progress on wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.70.238.43 (talk) 03:54, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
