Excel FAC
[edit]Thank you for the kind words! And while I disagree with you on the citations, I appreciate the rigor you're putting the article through. I've ridden FACs hard myself, so I expected it. I concur that the standards shouldn't be lowered, 'though I think the article meets them. ;) I would, however, like to repeat my strenuous disagreement with your labelling the article as "dishonest." I have, nevertheless, tweaked some of the wording to hopefully address that concern. --Monocrat 19:20, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
- I think I have addressed your smaller issues with the article: more information about Watanabe has been added, the copy has improved, and citations to the ADV and VIZ notes clarified. If you agree that these have been satisfactorilly addressed, would you mind striking them?--Monocrat 14:47, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
Bogdabiography
[edit]I used the New York Times, Chronicle of Higher Education and Le Monde articles to supply a little more biographical background in the Bogdanov Affair piece. Hopefully, it is more illuminating now. Review and edit as you see fit! Anville 18:58, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
Japanese city naming debate
[edit]There's a new debate at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (Japan-related articles) regarding the guidelines for naming cities of Japan. --Polaron | Talk 08:47, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
Edit summary
[edit]- Fair comment about the edit summary. The idea behind deprecating the pages is to enable simpler review of "as-of" pages for updating: the whole mechanism may soon be replaced with Template:Update after and others. Rich Farmbrough, 08:51 27 September 2006 (GMT).
Update to Template:Update_after
[edit]Hi! I've made changes to Template:Update after (it now links to Category:Wikipedia articles in need of updating and As of), and made significant changes to the documentation at Template:Update_after (including documenting the built-in ability to add a comment, and a changes in where it's allowable to be used); please review, and provide comments at Template talk:Update after if you think any are appropriate. Thanks! --Scott McNay 03:53, 16 October 2006 (UTC).

Shunrō Oshikawa article
[edit]You have started working on it months ago and never continued. But the parts you did add and which remain hidden from the reader are quite good, I would suggest uncovering them and making them available to whoever looks at the article. A pity to let that good work go to waste. Adam keller 12:25, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
I got no response to the above, I am going now to unveil your added passages to the public view.Adam keller 14:13, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
InuYasha
[edit]I have been updating the InuYasha page and I noticed that you had given a peer review in 2006. I was hoping that maybe you would be interested in helping me edit the page or at least offer an updated review (point out any new issues/shortcomings with the page).--88wolfmaster 20:43, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Garakame 11 024 4-592-88011-0.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Garakame 11 024 4-592-88011-0.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
