An article you recently created, Irene '58, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. - @Germcrow: I don't understand why this article is not allowed while the original (the Dutch article) is. The original doesn't have sources, yet is allowed and has been since 2011 (again, without any sources). The translated article, which is now a draft, is not allowed because of that exact reason, which frustrates me. I'll add sources to the draft, but I'd like a response in which you explain why the Dutch version has never had any sources and why that's okay. Thank you so much for informing me! --ZimonIsHim (talk) 12:00, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
ZimonIsHim yea, try adding some references and repost. The English wiki demands that. The Dutch wiki is different as well. Germcrow (talk) 17:50, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
- @Germcrow: I did. They sent me this: "This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of organizations and companies). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.".
