WrestleMania 33 edits

[edit]

Please gain a consensus on the articles talk page before making these changes. Other Superstars are mentioned by first name so changing Sasha to Banks makes no sense in the way the article has been written. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 20:40, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

December 2017 - incorrect alteration of cited information on Sasha Banks

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Sasha Banks, without citing a reliable source. Correct punctuation of "however"

[edit]

As per this edit for the Styles vs Owens and Zayn match, whenever you use the word "however", a comma goes before AND after the word if it's in the middle of the sentence as you made it in this edit. If "however" starts a sentence or follows a semicolon, then it only goes after. Maybe you didn't see them, but I've mentioned this several times in edit summaries to you. --JDC808 19:13, 24 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Fastlane (2018), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Asuka (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Hi,

Just wanted to let you know that the IP address shown above removed a section you added to my talk page a while ago and referred to you as an "anal creep". I have now restored the section and left a comment for this user to either keep comments about other editors to himself or to directly address the issue with you. This is none of my business as you were the editor who was directly referenced but just wanted to make sure you knew.

Since you appeared to be confused by the word "pairings" (your edit summary said "Huh"). A tag team is a pairing of two people. "Pairings" here was used to mean that there were two tag teams (and condensed two words into one). --JDC808 23:37, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Adding 'By pinfall' to every single match

[edit]

That is how most traditional way matches end. So if it's any different (ie; Submission, DQ, etc) it is added. 'By pinfall' is unnecessary. CageToRattle (talk) 2:04, 14 June 2021 (UTC)

@CageToRattle: To be honest, that is what I also thought. By default, that is how most matches end: by pinfall, which shouldn't be stated by default. However, this article should be in accordance with Manual of Style. Here is the link

https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Professional_wrestling. (Navigate to "style guide" > "results") Please familiarize yourself with it and you will see the article conforms to standards as to how wrestling articles should be written/drafted. Zerobrains94 (talk) 05:35, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't really mention that you should be adding 'by pinfall' to each result. Especially when the pinfall is the dominating result. We might need to set up a debate on wiki for this. CageToRattle (talk) 7:44, 14 June 2021 (UTC)

@CageToRattle: Actually the article does state that the finish should be included. Here is a quote from the article: "The results column contains match results and should be modeled after the following example: [Wrestler A] defeated [Wrestler B].

The means by which the match was decided—e.g. by pinfall, submission, disqualification, or countout—should be added after the above text: [Wrestler A] defeated [Wrestler B] by [decision]" Decision is the type of finish here (i.e. pinfall). While I also agree pinfall is the dominating result, wrestling articles must conform to these standards. Zerobrains94 (talk) 14:10, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bad Boy (hindi film) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Formatting sources

[edit]

I can see that in this edit, you formatted the source poorly, as you have done for years. There is no need for "Raw" to be all caps. Dates should be in mdy format, you should put the date the article was published, no need for "last1" and "first1", just "last" and "first" is enough, and the first letter of each word for the work, not website, should be capitalized, like "Pro Wrestling Dot Net". Thanks for your contributions to 2024 in professional wrestling. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. dxneo (talk) 19:38, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
