@Pigsonthewing Hi! Thanks for the encouragement. Yes, I definitely would like to continue on this community, and perhaps even help improve it. I am still familiarizing myself with the guidelines so your links are very helpful. Thanks again, if I have any doubt in the future I will keep the Teahouse in mind :). Hi Stefen, yes, it was a typo. I wrote 63 instead of the correct 73. Its already corrected. FranGallego33 (talk) 18:10, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the correction. Unfortunately, I'm not able to read minds, and the first addition had the appearance of some kind of disruptive edit. Cheers! Stefen Towers among the rest! GabGruntwerk 18:22, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ofc! thanks for the help FranGallego33 (talk) 18:48, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Repeating refs is preferred to putting a ref just once at the end of a long paragraph, or worse, several paragraphs, or worse! a section title. The reason is that over time, other editors may add and reference more content within a long paragraph, or move stuff. View history can be used to 'rescue' what someone else cut. I often move content into my Sandbox, work there, reference there, then paste into article. Even for experienced editors, Wikipedia rules can be frustrating. Earlier this year I made more than 200 edits to Vitamin C in attempt to raise it from Good Article rating (my work, 2017, one of 19 articles I have raised to GA) to Featured Article rating, only to have the FA review team opine 'not good enough'. I hope that you will decide to continue to contribute to Wikipedia, and in time find the rules and guidelines less onerous. David notMD (talk) 13:56, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello David,
yes I understand now. I'll also try to make more edits but shorter in content, so its also easier to reverse or edit them without removing the whole entry.
Its surprising to hear what you tell me about the Vitamin C page, it definetely looks more than good. Now I begin to understand why there is so much posted info related to solving online arguments between users...
I definetely need to learn about the different categories of pages, sounds like a fun thing to devote the energy to. The DYK indications, for example, are being very helpful to learn. I'll keep adding (well cited) content until I run out of sources, I have high hopes for this page.
Thanks as always. FranGallego33 (talk) 15:34, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lev Gatovsky, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page All-Union Communist Party. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
