You recently added an "Advert" tag to Actors Federal Credit Union. Would you mind explaining some of your concerns on the article's Talk page. I have previously assisted the primary editor of the article to improve the article. Your assistance to resolve these concerns would be appreciated. Thanks. Roger (talk) 08:23, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

Thanks. Anyway I'm from Świdwin, so I live in another part of Poland - I live in northern Poland, you were in southern.
And you, where are you from?
And what about this article - now it has reliable sources?
ArkadiuszEurope (talk) 18:41, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
I live 50 kilometers (app. 31 miles) from Baltic coast. But the sea is dead and very dirty, if I have to be true.
Now I am in Netherlands, nearby Roermond. Marina in this "town" is 1000 much bigger than marina in Kołobrzeg. These cities are similar big. Maybe it's interesting for you to visit Polish coast, but lots of Poles prefer to go on vacation to Tunisia or Egypt, because ridiculously it's cheaper to go there from Poland than go on Baltic sea. It's also because of that in Poland summer season lasts only two months, and people working at seaside hotels, restaurants etc. work only 2 months and must earn for entire year.
ArkadiuszEurope (talk) 20:07, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
In Poland there is stereotype that Americans are fat. And some people said, that's true. Because you don't appreciate food as much as Europeans. Especially in poorer European countries we don't use too much chemistry for farming, and we got healthy, good fruits and vegetables.
Anyway, you travel a lot. I was only in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden. And I was on the Russian border.
ArkadiuszEurope (talk) 16:27, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
Careful on the overtagging
Be a little more careful in overtagging articles, some examples are Lucas Patinho and Ottoman legislative election, 1912. Neither article needed to be wikified. Lucas Patinho had two perfectly fine references and didn't need the refimprove or one source tags. There was no reason for a context tag. Ottoman legislative article is not an orphan as an article links to it. Bgwhite (talk) 21:21, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
- Having two sources for a footballer is perfectly normal. There should never be any reference tag added to it. If you do come across a BLP that needs more sources, use the {{BLP sources}} tag.
- There is no need to add the wikify tag to the article any more if it just needs an infobox. The wikify tag is currently undergoing some changes. If an infobox is needed, then add {{Infobox requested}} to the article's talk page. This will add the article to the Category:Articles without infoboxes and Category:All articles covered by WikiProject Wikify. This change was made in the last few weeks. They are working on others. Oh joy. It wouldn't be Wikipedia if you didn't lean a rule only to have it change. Bgwhite (talk) 22:19, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
- There is always debate on over/under tagging. Some editors absolutely hate some tags. Others have different reasons for adding or not adding a tag. Tagging is important, just be prepared for some grief. Bgwhite (talk) 22:19, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
- Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Wikify#No more wikify template is the discussion on what/why/where of the wifify changes. Bgwhite (talk) 22:47, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

micro RNAs
I agree with you about the undesirability of making articles in this manner, but once made, it would be very easy to provide at least basic expansion of them. WP articles grow with time. How to handle this would need a discussion and consensus, so to provide time for this, As reviewing administrator, I have had to go to the trouble of deprodding every one of them individually. Just as it might have been better to make a few at a time, it would have been better to nominate a few for deletion at first, before doing the work on the others. Doing them all at once makes more work for everybody involved.
Even if the decision were to do them as a list, we would still normally make redirects from each individual one, and the easiest way to do that is by editing the original articles, which preserves the work of having found the references--no matter how mechanically they had been found, it is still a start. What I might have done is first made he list you suggested, and then done the redirects.
I've commented further on User talk:User1311, but the molecular biology workgroup is probably the place for the discussion. DGG ( talk ) 05:29, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

Franck Nazikian
Hi Zaldax - you recently nominated Franck Nazikian for deletion, with the AfD later being closed as 'no consensus.' Every single keep !voter has since been blocked as sockpuppets in this SPI. After noticing the remarkable amount of sockpuppetry, I approached the closing administrator on his talk page, he suggested opening a new AfD on Frank Nazikian and noting the sockpuppetry issues on the previous one. I haven't thoroughly evaluated the sources enough to feel comfortable nomming him myself, but given the sockpupppetry issues you may want to do so. Kevin Gorman (talk) 23:49, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- I posted this without realizing that Mark had already renommed the article. So, it's back at AfD now :) Kevin Gorman (talk) 23:59, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up! I thought those keep !votes were oddly similar...
- Anyway, I can't seem to find the AFD link, the page template just has a redlink. I'll see if I can find where it went off to...

Vandalism Studies Update - August 2012
Hello, members of the Vandalism Studies Project! As some of us are quite new with the Vandalism Studies project, it would make sense for us to re-read some of the past studies, as well as studies outside the project. Please do so if you have a chance, just so we can get into the groove of things. We're planning on attempting to salvage the Obama study (or possibly simply convert it to a new Romney study), as well as hopefully begin our third study this November. If you have any ideas for Study 3, please suggest them! If you have any questions please post them on the project talk page. Thanks, and happy editing - we can't wait to begin working on the project! --Dan653 (talk) and Theopolisme :)

Because of your interest in dispute resolution,, I am inviting you to comment on the following RfC:
Talk:Monty Hall problem#Conditional or Simple solutions for the Monty Hall problem?
This dispute has been going on for over ten years and there have been over 1,300,000 words posted on the article talk page (by comparison, all of the Harry Potter books together total 1,084,170 words). Over the years the dispute has been through multiple noticeboards, mediators, and even the Arbitration Committee without resolving the conflict, so a lot of wisdom is needed here. --Guy Macon (talk) 01:00, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to the Milhist project
Hello and welcome to the Military history WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to military history.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated very frequently. You can watchlist it if you are interested, or you can add it directly to your user page by copying the following: {{WPMILHIST Announcements}}.
- Important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
- The project has several departments, which handle article quality assessment, detailed article and content review, writing contests, and article logistics.
- We have a number of task forces that focus on specific topics, nations, periods, and conflicts.
- We've developed a set of guidelines that cover article structure and content, template use, categorization, and many other issues of interest.
- If you're looking for something to work on, there are many articles that need attention, as well as a number of review alerts.
- If you have an idea for improving the project, we have a strategy think tank that provides a dedicated forum for discussing it.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask any of the project coordinators or any other experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome, and we are looking forward to seeing you around! AustralianRupert (talk) 23:25, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

Page Curation newsletter
Hey Zaldax. I'm dropping you a note because you used to (or still do!) patrol new pages. This is just to let you know that we've deployed and developed Page Curation, which augments and supersedes Special:NewPages - there are a lot of interesting new features :). There's some help documentation here if you want to familiarise yourself with the system and start using it. If you find any bugs or have requests for new features, let us know here. Thanks!
