No Problem!

Just watching out for vandalism. I see that this case wasn't. We just try to watch out for each other and our shared project. Happy editing. Kukini 01:07, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding IP block

[edit]

I'm not very familiar with how the system works, but here's what I can provide from my end. I'm using a University wireless connection to get online, as well as multiple computers (school complabs, my own, friends' after mine broke.) I don't know if a block like this has long-lasting consequences--if there are none, then there should be no problem--I doubt I'll be back on Wikipedia more than once or twice from the University; however if it has a more significant effect, what need I do to alleviate the problems? Apologies for any issues this has cause, Zakahori 01:08, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The IP you are using has been blocked, not your username. If you know the IP you are using, the block on that IP can be changed to only apply to anonymous IPs, rather than registered users; you can use the unblock template again for this. To advise administrator's when blocking this IP or these IPs that they should make sure the block only applies to anonymous IPs, leave a note about it on the talk page of the IP. If you want, you can ask for help from someone on how messages like this can be created. For one example, see User talk:220.245.178.141. Welcome! —Centrxtalk • 01:17, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
