- Maybe you weren't aware, but what you're asking for can't be done. I'm genuinely sorry to see you go (again). Also, please check your e-mail...

Shall you extend PC time or upgrade to semi? There are not good IP edits lately. --George Ho (talk) 06:42, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
- George from the edit history I don't see that extending the protection is warranted at this time. If there are problems in the future please report them to WP:RFPP.

Sorry I was thin skinned.
I should not have complained about being reverted. I find the culture confrontational, but most mistakes have been my own. Thanks for reaching out. I am guessing I will be addicted to this once I start to earn some endorphins from success.
How do I find out what the most important medical articles are that are low quality? Other editors are helping me on the pages I already did research, (for example the lyme "wars", which is science history, because the medicine is controversial.) More experienced editors know how to work within the culture on hard topics, and I am more interested in improving Wikipedia than in fighting for or against some position.
Your advice on BXO was partially successful. I had read both of the links you had sent, and virtually everything else ever written on the subject. My goal was to produce a single sentence that was informative, wiki-ready, and useful to a typical user. There is an art I am missing. How do you say "something is more common than thought." When there is no way to tell a Wikipedia reader how common it was thought to be? We do not want to tell people what to do, we want to provide them easy access to the best information. There is a small cancer risk. This is not controversial. Both BXO and the cancer are nasty. Also not controversial. There is good research. But how to make it a sentence....?
I think the answer is to move on to another topic, unless you think there is value to mastering this one. Bob the goodwin (talk) 09:15, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
