Hello there! I happened to add a wikilink to your user page for the virus article you were planning on editing. I hope you don't mind! Best. Biosthmors (talk) 15:38, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I also made this edit to put the reference in the right spot. Best. Biosthmors (talk) 22:01, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Thank you for the editing. I appreciate it.--Ywehc gnay (talk) 05:01, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sandbox

[edit]

Mai you are making great progress with wikimarkup. Time to start using your sandbox to write your article! S L Seston (talk) 20:32, 22 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Comments from primal eloquence: This was a well-organized article. The headings make sense and flow well into one another. The citations are good, and I believe them to be appropriate. The hyperlinks to other wiki articles all seemed to work just fine. Some suggestions: The 'STRUCTURE' section is slightly difficult to understand. The first sentance: "The Beet Curly Top Virus contains a single-stranded DNA that is packed in twinned icosahedral." sounds like it might be missing a word at the end. Twinned icosahedral what? Also, this section might benefit from some visual aids. Perhaps loading pictures of the structure of the virus, or pictures of the DNA structure might help make the writing easier to understand. Also it feels like a small amount of what you are talking about goes beyond just structure, but also into "behavior" of the virus. The link to hyperplasia may be a little misleading in how it relates to plants. It looked like it was more geared towards hyperplasia in human biology, rather than plant biology. In the 'SYMPTOMS' section, you have "vein swelling" listed twice. (Again, perhaps the use of some pictures would help. To display the different between healthy and infected plants.) In the 'ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS' section - so you have information more recent than 2001 and 2002?

Overall, a great article. Good job!! Primal eloquence (talk) 22:44, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I appreciate the comments/inputs and will work on them. It's great to have another set of eyes to look over the information and see what needs to be changed. Thanks again for reviewing my article! Ywehc gnay (talk)

Hey there!

[edit]

I noticed in your article that the headings were in all caps. Could you change that? Per WP:Headings, thanks. Just the first letter is capitalized. =) Thanks. Biosthmors (talk) 03:02, 12 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sure! I have a habit of doing that some times. : ) Ywehc gnay (talk) 21:22, 12 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
