Vandalism at Andrea Kimi Antonelli
[edit]Please read WP:DISRUPTIVE. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a place for our personal feelings. Mb2437 (talk) 09:36, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- Sourced facts are objective and must be quoted or you're a biased fan Yugann (talk) 09:44, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- Not all 'facts' are notable enough to include, nor should we make contentious statements of opinion. You may include referenced quotes on each matter from major, reliable sources if you wish, but I cannot find any. For example, his finishing 15th in the World Championships is certainly not notable enough for the lead, nor does stating every race he did not win in F2. Imagine the state of Lewis Hamilton's article if we stated "oh, by the way, he also came 20th and 15th in the 2000/2001 World Championships" in the lead. Please educate yourself on contributing to Wikipedia, else this matter will be escalated as this is clearly a WP:SPA. Mb2437 (talk) 09:54, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- The World championship is certainly worth to be mentioned it's the most prestigious competition in karting. How is the European championship worth more than the world championship? The F2 season lack of podiums must be mentioned too as it was mentioned by all motorsport observers, as for the bio of other drivers (Bearman bio even states "a miserable season start") Yugann (talk) 10:02, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- The championships are only mentioned in the lead because he won them, his performances at them are not notable otherwise. I'll be expanding his karting career soon, but for now it is simply a list of his achievements; you're selectively avoiding that he came fifth in the KWC two years prior. His back-to-back victories in the senior direct-drive EKC at his age was one of the greatest feats in karting history, hence why it is mentioned in the lead. "All motorsport observers" is not correct, you need to state specifics or "several outlets" with several sources to back it up. Mb2437 (talk) 10:10, 23 November 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at Andrea Kimi Antonelli shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
