WP:RS

[edit]

Because a source is not listed at WP:ICTFFAQ does NOT mean it is not RS. It just means it hasn't been added yet. Have you read enough Puthiya Thalaimurai articles? Did you uncover any evidence of malpractice, errors or corruption in them? Then you could take this to WP:Perennial sources. Kailash29792 (talk) 09:03, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. But then how did you come to the conclusion that it IS a reliable source ? I only said this would require a new discussion at the Indian cinema WikiProject talk page.

@Yucky Cupid: Print media is generally considered reliable per WP:NFSOURCES, be it in any language. If you need then you can open a new discussion at the WT:ICTF. NaanReady (talk) 13:51, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Although I might be wrong, your objective in this case seems a little shady; you have a song from Vijay's new film as your username. Since you added this source to Beast, you should start the discussion. This source is not used in any other major article. While the source may or may not be notable, it wouldn't harm to ask for the opinion of others at the WikiProject page. If this movie Beast did gross 300 crore, then there would be mention in other reliable sources about it.
