A tag has been placed on Sexy Magic Riddim requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly' to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. The'ChampionMan1234 04:54, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, celebrity or other well-known individual, or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not. See WP:FAQ/Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you will probably not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I am not affiliated with German record label "Germaica" nor artists Sanjin & Youthman nor Yu Go! Riddim. I just wanted to write articles about these topics, seeing as they are among my favorite Dancehall artists. Evidently I wasn't aware of the Naming conventions enforced on Wikipedia, I just went along with the name of my favourite dancehall riddim. I really didn't see anything wrong with that. You can CheckUser me, you'll find that my IP address resolves to the United States, far from Germany and the rest of Europe, where the record label and aforementioned artists are remotely located. I just want to spread knowledge of dancehall to fellow Wikipedians. Is that a crime? I simply ask to be unblocked and my username changed to Funky Buraz. Thank you.

Accept reason:

Allowing username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. Please also avoid editing articles related to this band or whatever until you've read and thoroughly understand Wikipedia's neutrality policy. If people can tell your writing is that of a fan, then you shouldn't be contributing to that article.Chaser (talk) 21:34, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I'm a random uninvolved user. I see that you've been editing almost exclusively "Sanjin & Youthman" based topics inserting content on these. There is a perception that your editing is promotional in nature as almost all of the content added has been positive in nature. Furthermore your name chosen is the title of an article that you created so there is further concern that you were hired to puff up this section of content. It might be a good idea to look at the policies regarding Conflicts of interest and other topics as your editing is (in my viewpoint) highly suspect in it's neutrality. Hasteur (talk) 18:49, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I get the confusion, and this is clearly my fault for failing to pick a better name. I reiterate, I wasn't hired by anyone to "puff up" the content. Concerning Sanjin & Youthman-related topics, there really isn't anything negative from what I've found. Not like there isn't much on the web about them to begin with, unless you want me to put in original research, which is apparently barred from Wikipedia. If it's of any consolation, I'll refrain from editing Sanjin & Youthman-related topics. I can edit other topics, if necessary, someone can monitor my activity. --Yu Go! A tag has been placed on Three Loco requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you have references, can you put them on the talk page if you're allowed to edit that, or here if you're not, and I or someone will put them in the article?— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 07:16, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
