I am wondering how do you know that the mysterious aluf 'אל"מ ע in [1] is in fact עומר גרוסמן ? Loew Galitz (talk) 22:42, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Loew Galitz for starters, it is public knowledge (it's clearly stated in the English wiki page of the unit). once he stepped down, his name also became unclassified.
second off, I serve in the unit, so naturally I know who the previous commander is. Yoavoffek1610 (talk) 22:51, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
For starters back, I removed it. In English wikipedia the information can be added only from reliable sources. And in the external link I mentioned not only the name of "aluf 'ע" was not given, but the face on the photo was blurred as well. Meaning that this info was not so "public". I did a quick google search for "עומר גרוסמן" + "ממר"ם" and found nothing. Maybe I was not diligent enough.
second, yes, I suspected your affiliation. I did find the page of "Omer Grossman" and it looks like he is the one. But the page does not list his positions. Meaning it was not sufficiently declassified. :-)
Therefore I would kindly ask you to ask your superiors for permission to add the name to Wikipedia and to supply a valid reference to confirm the information. Loew Galitz (talk) 00:38, 26 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
