I spent ages adding a history section to the article on the national health service. Why has this been reverted?

Could you please provide a link to the article? Miranda 11:17, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, per this link, Wikipedia doesn't accept original research. Miranda 11:23, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its not original research! Obviously whoever did edit the page doesnt know the most basic british history. If the editor had cared to look at the discussion page, i added a request at the bottom for someone to

"hi, i added some stuff from andrew marrs history of modern britain in the history section of the nhs wiki. if anyone could add in the ref for me as i cant figure it out that would be great.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/History-Modern-Britain-Andrew-Marr/dp/1405005386"

Why are people so trigger happy to delete things people have spent time on?

See WP:CITE. They just removed the reference because you didn't cite it properly. Miranda 00:11, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Toytronic Records

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Toytronic Records requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ninety:one 18:09, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
