My submission declined: Articles for creation: Zvi Hirsch HaKohen Wolk (Keser Kehuna)

[edit]

Dear Kylie Thank you for reviewing my submission. I confess that I am not as yet literate as to how to publish content on Wiki.

I note that you have declined by submission as the content is deemed not notable and there are no reference. I would appreciate your guidance as I am pasting below some links to content online which references Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Wolk who was a famous rabbinical scholar who lived between 1856-1906.

1. [1]https://www.google.co.uk/books/edition/A_Midrash_and_a_Maaseh/d-isSTzMWewC?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=zvi+hirsh+wolk&pg=PA73&printsec=frontcover The author of this book is himself published on Wiki. 2. [2]https://www.google.co.uk/books/edition/Sages_and_Saints/YZgRAQAAIAAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&bsq=zvi+hirsch+wolk&dq=zvi+hirsch+wolk&printsec=frontcover 3. [4]https://www.eretzhemdah.org/newsletterArticle.asp?lang=en&pageid=4&cat=7&newsletter=4942&article=11546 Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Wolk is mentioned with the title of Chief Rabbi. 5. I do also note that there is a research category for similar rabbinical scholars to the one I am looking to publish. Category:19th-century rabbis from the Russian Empire. I am not sure why the content has been published and mine has been declined as it would appear to be of similar interest to the public interested in this category of research.

Please can you offer me some guidance?

I can pay someone more literate than me to publish my content but I was hoping I could achieve this myself :)

Many thanks for your help!

Hi, first all new articles on Wikipedia have to show the subject is notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV) in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS). Your article had no references, if you think they meet the nobility requirement please add the sources to the article and re-submit. Regards KylieTastic (talk) 20:18, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
thank you. That is understood. If reliable sources are submitted in non English how will you be able to research them? Ybw 613 (talk) 20:46, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sources do not need to be in English, for basic checks google translate is used, or we also have lots of reviewers who read different languages. KylieTastic (talk) 20:50, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
