Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Yuvraj Singh, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. You have been adding names to lists of Notable alumni in articles. Wikipedia policy is that unless there is an existing Wikipedia article about a person, that person's name should not be added anywhere as a Notable alumni. David notMD (talk) 15:02, 29 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Battlaxe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon

Hello Yaarann. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Yaarann. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Yaarann|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. GSS (talk|c|em) 11:20, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Actually, I was blocked for creating a page for a persona named Kevin George and the reason given to me is that I have created this page in exchange of money, which is not correct. I created this person's page after being impressed with his personality. I follow him on social networking and this is reason I tried to create a page for him. I don't know that it violates Wikipedia's policy. I request you to change your decision of blocking me from editing existing articles. I promise you that I won't give you a chance for a complaint in the future.

Decline reason:

You have not addressed your copyright violations. You state on your userpage that writing is your profession, so it is difficult to believe that you were not paid in this instance. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 16:13, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I stated writing as my profession, which is true, but I create articles for Wikipedia to improve my writing skills not for gaining money as I generate enough income from my writing job. If I am here for earning, then why would I right writing as my profession. I am here to develop my skills and learn from other Wikipedia writers, I humbly request you to review your decision of blocking me and give me one chance.

Decline reason:

You have still not addressed your copyright violations. Yamla (talk) 12:32, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Frankly speaking I didn't know that it was a copyright violation as I just copied an image from someone's profile from social networking. Please treat this mistake of my mine as first and last.

Request reason:

You said that my drafts looks like that I am paid to write it. But have you checked it thoroughly as it was written for a Gurudwara, a Sikh religious place. Why would I be paid to write for a religious place? Why would they pay me to write for them. They don't need it at all. I request you to review your decision and unblock my account as I want to contribute to Wikipedia, which is beneficial for me as well as Wikipedia. In case, the region I gave is not enough to believe then please tell me the solution to get my account unblocked

Decline reason:

Having looked at the off-wiki evidence and compared it to your deleted contributions, I am convinced that you have been editing for pay on Wikipedia without disclosure. Yunshui  06:40, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please tell me in detail how I can unblock my account.

Yaarann (talk) 07:49, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I have been blocked from editing Wikipedia and I appealed so many times to unblock myself but I haven't been unblocked and that's why I have been forced to create a new Wikipedia account. I can't edit my own user page to add paid user tag to my page. I request you to unblock one of my accounts and delete the other account. I would be happy if you allow me again to edit and follow my passion.

Request reason:

Hello admin, Kindly unblock this Wikipedia account of mine or otherwise delete it and activate my other Wikipedia account ContentNerd, where I have disclosed that I also do paid editing. If this is not the solution, kindly tell me what I need to do to unblock one of my Wikipedia accounts. Yaarann (talk) 07:23, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for acknowledging your sockpuppetry after earlier going out of your way to blatantly lying about it, over on User talk:ContentNerd. However, this is your sixth (!!!) unblock request here and it demonstrates a profound lack of any understanding of what lead to your block. Given that you've worked extremely hard to destroy the trust the community had in you, I have revoked talk page access. Acknowledging your lies from earlier this month is a good step, but it's nowhere near sufficient. If your unblock request is declined, your best chance, though it's slim, is to wait six months with zero edits then apply under WP:SO. At that point, you'll need to address your inappropriate edits, your sockpuppetry and block evasion, your lying, and almost certainly, you'll have to fully disclose your conflicts of interest and agree to a complete topic ban around any paid editing whatsoever. In six months, and not before, you can use WP:UTRS to apply. You will have to make zero edits, or this option will be removed from you and you will have no path forward. --Yamla (talk) 09:29, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
