Welcome!

Hello, Yaanu, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

OK, I know you've been here a while, but I see nobody said hello - so hello! --Bookandcoffee 08:21, 7 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Zombie Survival Guide

[edit]

Hey, I've reverted your recent edits to edits to The Zombie Survival Guide. The external link was removed because we shouldn't link directly to commercial websites; see Wikipedia:External links#Links normally to be avoided. I also removed the Top Ten Lessons section, as that is pulled directly off the back of the book (which could constitute a copyright violation).

On the flip side, I applaud your obviously excellent taste in books. :-) EVula 18:28, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I moved this out of mainspace, it's not sutible but it you want to play with the page I made a subpage. See WP:CSD for details. BuickCenturyDriver (Honk, contribs, odometer) 21:41, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Invitation.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Invitation.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:18, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Greg English requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
