Juan Branco

[edit]
Extended content

I have requested a semi-protection of Juan Branco before seing your last revert. It seems that, if accepted, this would prevent you to edit this article. If you want to edit the article, I will be happy to answer to your edit requests. D.Lazard (talk) 14:11, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Good job and thanks for letting me know! XInolanIX (talk) 14:17, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I'm requesting a checkuser on XlnolanlX. FYI, XlnolanlX, your use of the encyclopedia is not only in countervention of Wikipedia rules but potentially libelous.D.Lazard, you have no right to serve as a sockpuppet to another editor. Elahadji (talk) 17:34, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I hope this: WP:Sockpuppet investigations/XInolanIX puts your allegations to rest. XInolanIX (talk) 13:17, 2 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Knock yourself out. I won't be bullied. XInolanIX (talk) 19:17, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The bully talking about bullying. Interesting. Elahadji (talk) 11:20, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
In relation to the above: The subject of the article in question Juan Branco is also Elahadji as demonstrated on the talk page. It appears the pot is calling the kettle black. XInolanIX (talk) 13:19, 2 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I see there has already been discussion on this matter. I put here the modificaiton i did. i don't know why you reverted it immediatelly. The sources are legitimate. Please take them into account and then do whatever you deem appropriate, if you don't want exterior contributors to participate.

Member of The Greens (France), he was recruited to participate in the campaign of future President center-leftFrançois Hollande. He was hired by the future French Minister of Culture and Communications Aurélie Filippetti, to work on a reform on copyright which was then defended by the candidate, and would be afterwards abandoned. Le Monde, Libération and and Mediapart revealed that he was pushed aside due to the abandonment of the promised reform. A conflict on his position during the campaign arouse. Whilst different media had presented him, until then and with no contradiction, as the chief of staff or Aurélie Filippetti or a very close adviser , she hit back by stating that he had "demanded to be hired as her chief of staff at age 22" and that he "completely lost it when he was refused the position". Branco, in response, published a private message in which Aurélie Filippetti had proposed him to become his chief of staff for the campaign, and recalled that he had been represented as such until then, to which she replicated that he was "dangerous, intelligent and skillful"., as "megalomaniacal, a compulsive liar and very, very manipulative", and that he had "recorded their conversations". 2A01:CB04:B16:B300:5C4E:898E:A030:102C (talk) 12:19, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for dropping by and helping out. Unfortunately, the Wiki-page for Juan Branco is a minefield, not least because a variety of users claiming to be Mr. Branco himself keep interfering and changing the page into free promotional leaflet. Patience of other users has subsequently strained, but I had no intention to scaring you off. Regarding the "special assistant" matter: On the French discussion page, there is a large section about his (specifically that a "letter of reference" produced by Mr. Branco does not change the nature of an employee's position). I assume you speak French, let me know if you need help with anything. Same goes regarding the Filippetti matter. This is from the French page:
[…] Il est dangereux, intelligent et habile. […] Il est à la fois mégalo, mythomane et très, très manipulateur4,8. »
I fail to see what's missing. EdgarAllanFrost (talk) 12:13, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
well the sources i sent you are good references to counterbalance the filipetti discourse that is taken as such too subjectively by WP, and in a way to attack him. Re. the ICC position, same. if the prosecutor himself qualified him as special assistant, i don't see why this should be used to attack him. The whole thing is written as if he was hated by the persons who did write it. Its no good forWP. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:CB04:B16:B300:5C4E:898E:A030:102C (talk) 12:19, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
One of my letters of recommendations claims I am an amazing welder and that my advice was invaluable... I suck at welding and - given my salary at the time - I feel my advice was much less than invaluable. I hope you catch my point. I ain't putting "welder extraordinaire" on my non-existant Wikipedia page anytime soon. If your impression of the article is so negative, have you considered that you take umbrage with the reported deeds by Mr. Branco? For comparison (of the article solely of course): Donald Trump seems rather harsh too, but that's just a reflection of his public persona, no?
