Information icon Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Lanzarote Airport does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Jetstreamer Talk 09:21, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not bypass redirects, nothing that is not broken needs fixation per WP:NOTBROKEN. Thanks.--Jetstreamer Talk 21:43, 28 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please stop fixing redirects in airport and airline articles? You did this again here for Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.--Jetstreamer Talk 18:42, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming Erfurt-Weimar Airport

[edit]

Hello there, please note that your renaming from Erfurt-Weimar into Erfurt you did in several articles is not correct. The WikiProject Aviation/Airline destination lists: Europe is outdated here as the airport has been renamed in 2013 from Erfurt to Erfurt-Weimar (or Erfurt/Weimar). Weimar is not a part of Erfurt (that naming would be indeed left out as the area has only one airport) but an independent city. Therefore the naming of "Erfurt/Weimar" in the charts is correct according to our guidelines (the same goes with Cologne/Bonn, Leeds/Bradford or Dallas/Forth Worth and several other airports around the world). Thanks! --46.244.138.193 (talk) 11:13, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Another note: Your changes from "Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden" to "Bade-Baden/Karlsruhe" are also incorrect. The airports official name is "Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden" as you can see on their official website. We never change an official naming. Please make yourself familiar with our standards before applying outdated or not applicable rules. If you have to change several identical entries, you can take for granted that they are correct and your changes are wrong - its not our first day here. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.244.145.71 (talk) 20:47, 25 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of airports by IATA code: C may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "[]"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • | CKY || GUCY || Conakry International Airport (Gbessia Int'l Airport] || Conakry, Guinea || UTC±00:00 ||

Format fixes on airport pages

[edit]

Hi Woy23. When you're touching up those airport pages, please leave those single spaces after the = signs. People have to put them back in if they want to add something to an infobox item. Thanks for your efforts. Cptmrmcmillan (talk) 17:37, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
