Mary Hamilton

[edit]

Will you please stop moving the page? It is standard practice on Wikipedia to use the common name of a person, with a disambiguator in brackets if needed. Also, please stop removing references, and also changing her date of birth. I don't think you are deliberately vandalising the article, but you are damaging it. Can I ask how a common name is defined here? She was known to contemporaries and in her published writing as 'Mary Agnes Hamilton'. I changed her date of birth as it was incorrect - according to Who's Who and the ODNB she was born 8 July 1882, not 1884.
