This is my talk page for Wordgirl60. Wordgirl60 (talk) 19:25, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I want to let everyone know that I am aware of Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines and want to disclose here that I will sometimes use this account on behalf of clients who use the services of my public relations and corporate communications firm. I promise to be transparent about my client relationships and any related activities on Wikipedia, and am committed to following Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines. My background includes working as a newspaper and magazine editor, as well as teaching journalism and media ethics at the college level, so I absolutely appreciate Wikipedia's desire for neutral language and writing in its articles. When I am editing on behalf of a client, I will disclose both the client and explain my edits.Wordgirl60 (talk) 19:55, 11 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

AfC notification: Draft:ConnectWise has a new comment

[edit]
I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:ConnectWise. Thanks! KJP1 (talk) 15:02, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it might seem a bit odd, KJP1, but I think this combo is actually a benefit, which is why I decided to include the media ethics background in my bio. I've spent a lot of time thinking about and discussing how personal and financial bias impacts writing, so I think -- and hope that you see it in my writing -- that I am aware of how bias can sneak into reporting and, as a result, am able to eliminate it. I'd love to know if you have sniffed out non-factual writing of any sort so that I can eliminate it! (Also, I'm clearly new to Wikipedia so self-learning how to respond to comments, etc. Trying!)
