[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. More about West Paterson
[edit]I know that you believe that the name has already been changed from West Paterson to Woodland Park. The problem is that the borough's web site still shows the name change as unoffical. This article discusses the fact that provisional ballots must still be counted, before the measure can be considered passed. Even after that, the borough must determine when the name change will take effect. If you have evidence from reliable sources, such as newspapers or magazines, to show that the change is official please provide it and discuss it on the article talk page. Simply changing the name in the article and removing sources showing that the name change has not taken effect would appear to be vandalism. While I think your first block may have been arguably inappropriate, I would hope that you would understand how the collaborative process works in Wikipedia. Final warning
[edit]This is the last warning you will receive about your edits at West Paterson, New Jersey. The next time you update it to Woodland Park without the official name changing occurring, you will be blocked. At this point, the town still calls itself West Paterson and is in the process of deciding when it will officially become Woodland Park. It appears, from the article you linked to as "proof" of it being official, that this will not occur until January at the reorganization meeting, either way (talk) 13:25, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
