Speedy deletion of 'scaping

[edit]

A tag has been placed on 'scaping, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

This is a neologism.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 02:01, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not violate Wikipedia policy by introducing inappropriate pages, such as Heritage Tile III, to Wikipedia. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Coren 23:49, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Simply put, Heritage Tile III is not notable enough to be in Wikipedia. It is no reflection on the quality of the business, simply that in order to be included in an encyclopedia, a topic must have some modicum of notability.

I see you have already placed a {{hangon}} tag on the article. What you need to do now is read the guidelines, and if the company has a sufficient claim to notability, include that in the article.

Happy editing! Coren 00:01, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Woodcutter631, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Leo.gif) was found at the following location: User:Woodcutter631. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Please note that it is possible that the image on your page is included vie a template or usebox. In that case, please find a free image for the template or userbox. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 13:09, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Cutter631.PNG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Cutter631.PNG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:06, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

((unblock|absolutely no evidence provided, I have no clue what I am being punished for!))

This should now be resolved, please do contact me if you experience any further issue(s). Can't sleep, clown will eat me 04:35, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:1215993687 m.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 01:54, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
