[edit]
Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. 331dot (talk) 12:26, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:OWN. Your company does not own and has no special rights to the article about it. It cannot restrict who edits the article. Once you click "publish changes", the edit belongs to Wikipedia and not your company. You are notified of this right above the Publish Changes button, "By publishing changes, you agree to the Terms of Use, and you irrevocably agree to release your contribution under the CC BY-SA 3.0 License and the GFDL. You agree that a hyperlink or URL is sufficient attribution under the Creative Commons license." Please also review conflict of interest and paid editing for information on required formal disclosures. 331dot (talk) 12:28, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

This Wiki page is managed by Wonderlick Entertainment and was blocked incorrectly. For further information, copy of ownership - please contact office@wonderlick.com.au

Decline reason:

This block was intentional and correct. Wikipedia is not the place to promote anything. You can't claim your article, and you certainly can't forbid others from editing it. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 12:35, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I suggest that you reread the posts above, as you greatly misunderstand how Wikipedia operates. Also, we will not contact you by email- all nonpersonal Wikipedia business is conducted on Wikipedia, for openness and transparency. 331dot (talk) 12:36, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Since your edit summary claims ownership of the content I am assuming that this is copyrighted material and I am guessing you are an employee and do not have the authority to release to GFDL which would irrevocably release it for anyone to use or modify in perpetuity. As such I have removed the content from the page history as a copyright violation. Please do not post anything here that you don't wish to release to the public. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 12:43, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Just noting this account is an obvious sock of user:Scarf2048. I have blocked Scarf2048 for creating a sock account to attempt to continue to add the copyright content to Wikipedia.— Diannaa (talk) 13:44, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

With regards to the above text, thank you for pointing out. We have obtained permission from Wonderlick (employer) to release this information. We are kindly requesting to be unblocked to edit this page according the the guidelines.

You'll have to return to your original account to request unblock, as that account had a proper username. That account must be operated by a single individual only. Please understand that a Wikipedia article summarizes what independent reliable sources state about the subject, not what it wants to say about itself. Please review the policies described in the block notice. It's also unlikely that you will be unblocked to just edit about your employer; if you are interested in being a general contributor, please tell what other subjects you want to edit about. After your edit history shows a good understanding of Wikipedia policies, you may later be permitted to make edit requests regarding your company. 331dot (talk) 21:46, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I have submitted my approval email for use of the text as well a noted this on the other account. I am now seeking the pages to be release/unblocked. — Preceding unsigned comment added by WonderlickEntertainmentGroup (talkcontribs) 22:12, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I just want to let you know that everything done on Wikipedia, including this page is visible to the public. It seems like your goal here is to paint your company in the best possible light. Not only will we not let you do that as it violates our neutrality policy, but this is all visible to the public. I really suggest that you stop trying to get your version of the article. It just won't work. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 23:03, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Administrators. I am seeking urgent review of unblocked the Wonderlick Entertainment wiki page and user Scarf2048. I am seeking to update this page according the the guidelines stated by administrators and wish to use this wiki page and the features correctly. I believe the blocking was done without full understanding of the situation and wish for this to be reviewed. I am not trying to promote any business, just was looking to update information to reflect correct updates. I am happy to review further copyright rules with this unblocking, however I understand the rules around this copyright.

You need to return to your other account and follow the instructions given to you there, including reading the policies described. Copyright is not the only issue here by any means. 331dot (talk) 10:35, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

User: 331dot - I am having issues with the other account due to the IP address been blocked and wiki page been blocked. Currently I haven't had any success resolving the issue (even with the steps provided). Are you able to revert the block?

I have restored your talk page access on the other account, you must not use this account again. Please follow the instructions you've been given. 331dot (talk) 22:36, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I just stopped by to let you know that regardless of the copyright issue, the company's own website is not a good source of information for a Wikipedia article, as it does nothing to establish notability, and it is not worded in an encyclopedic way. Also, we don't include mini-biographies of non-notable corporate execs in an article about a company. So the corporate website is of extremely limited use (or even no use) for the a Wikipedia article. Remember that (unlike social media, LinkedIn, and your own website or blog) Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia, edited by volunteers who do not have a conflict of interest regarding the subject matter they choose to edit. So for these reasons, even if/when the permission email is approved, the content will not be of any use to us here at Wikipedia.— Diannaa (talk) 19:49, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
