@Wnsgur3470Information:----

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Twin Sorting Algorithm requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://arxiv.org/abs/1710.07992v1. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. noq (talk) 10:55, 3 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright/plagiarism

[edit]

Hello, I received a notification that you had posted material that closely paraphrased or took material verbatim from content that had previously been published elsewhere to your article. This is seen as a copyright issue and plagiarism, even if you were to include the original source as a citation. Always be careful when writing article content - a good way to avoid doing this is to take notes while reading and write your article from those notes.

Unless the material is explicitly marked as falling into the public domain or was released under a compatible Creative Commons license, it should be assumed that the content is copyrighted in a way that would prohibit it from being used verbatim elsewhere. It's always best to write things in your own words, as this can help prevent issues like this from arising. I would like for you to review the module on plagiarism and copyright, thanks. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Twin Sorting Algorithm requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Twin Sorting Algorithm moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Twin Sorting Algorithm, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. noq (talk) 07:25, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi - please do not move your work live until it is completed. When work is moved live the expectation is that it will be complete or at least complete enough to where the article would have enough information to explain the topic and enough sourcing to establish notability. If you continue to move it live before it's ready then this can be seen as disruptive behavior. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:45, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • This looks to be your second plagiarism warning. I must warn you that if you continue with this you run an extremely strong chance of getting blocked from editing. I will also have to let your instructor know that this is the second time that this has happened. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:50, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've deleted the sandbox copy because of the plagiarism issues. I'm also concerned that the article was only sourced with a primary source. In order to show where this is a notable algorithm you'll need to show where it's discussed in multiple independent and reliable sources. The algorithm isn't notable because it exists - it must have received coverage. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:03, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi - I received a notification of this. As stated above, the only way to establish notability for this would be to show where the algorithm has received coverage in independent and reliable sources. Keep in mind that the sourcing will have to specifically discuss the algorithm - if it doesn't discuss it then it can't be used to establish notability. This algorithm was fairly recently created so I don't think it would have been covered in anything published prior to this point. If this is the case then these sources can't show notability for the technique. There's also the issue that if this is being used to back up major points for the technique then this would be seen as original research.
To be very honest, I don't see where this is a notable topic at this point in time so it's too early to put this on Wikipedia. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:17, 4 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 23:09, 19 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Twin Sorting Algorithm

[edit]

Hello, Wnsgur3470. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Twin Sorting Algorithm".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! JMHamo (talk) 08:34, 9 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
