Helperbot
HBC AIV helperbot7 hasn't graced AIV for a good week now. Just figured I'd drop you a note. Cheers, m.o.p 02:29, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hi, sorry about that. Just restarted and seems to be running again now. It seems that since they were updated to SSL they are a bit more prone to logging out without realising. Will (aka Wimt) 08:09, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
- No worries! Sorry to bother you, and thanks for maintaining that wonderful bot. m.o.p 10:01, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
Looks like it happened again. m.o.p 02:58, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. I restarted it again earlier today and it seems to be running again. Will (aka Wimt) 20:20, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know if it goes down for longer than a few hours. m.o.p 04:57, 21 October 2013 (UTC)
- Looking at AIV's history, looks like it went down again? m.o.p 19:58, 21 October 2013 (UTC)

- User:HBC AIV helperbot7 has done nothing to page Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention/Bot since 18:09, 22 September 2013. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 08:56, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hi, sorry for the slow response. It is definitely still looking at that page, but it doesn't look like there have been any reports to remove since then as far as I can see? Let me know if I'm missing something though. Will (aka Wimt) 19:47, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
- User:Legobot used to look through the usernames and list in Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention/Bot any which seem to be objectionable, like at this diff. User:Legobot is still running (see Special:Contributions/Legobot), but it has done nothing to Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention/Bot since 22:41, 21 September 2013. Whose job is it now to check the usernames? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 12:35, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
- Probably a question for Legoktm I'm afraid. All the helperbots do is remove blocked users, so if nothing is reporting to that page anymore then it will have nothing to remove. If Legobot did start reporting again, the helperbots should automatically kick back into action as they are still watching for users to remove on that page.
