Mrs. \husband name/ in lead

[edit]

Hey great additions today with Lora Haines Cook and Emily Nelson Ritchie McLean, just wanted to note that adding the "also known as Mrs. husband name" in the lead isn't really standard, as far as I know. MOS:BIOALTNAME doesn't really cover it, but I believe it's redundant with the information in the infobox about who they married. I understand some historical sources may reference the subject in the context of their husband, but, in my opinion, a modern encyclopedia can exclude that outdated approach. Happy to set up a larger discussion for consensus, I'm not sure if WP:Women in Red has specific guidance here, so I may be wrong. --Engineerchange (talk) 19:21, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Marie-Chantal article

[edit]

I recently did a little grammar work on the Marie-Chantal, Crown Princess of Greece, as the introduction wasn't very clear in explaining if she was born into the royal family or is a part of the family through marriage. You reverted a very simple edit without an explanation, I don't want an edit war, so simple question, why and what is the reasoning behind the revert? Cltjames (talk) 22:02, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It's pretty easy to determine because the following sentence says that she is married to Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece. -- Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 16:50, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Melissa Becraft

[edit]

Hello Willthacheerleader18, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Melissa Becraft, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Melissa Becraft.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Frost}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
