Yes, there is censorship

[edit]

Yes, there is censorship on the talk page . You may not use the article talk page to make baseless accusations against another editor.

If you have concerns about an editors behavior, the proper forum is WP:ANI where you will need to substantiate you claims with WP:DIFFs and your own actions will be scrutinized as well. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 00:21, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion about an editor on the article's talk page will accomplish nothing as it's not the proper venue. You want WP:ANI. --NeilN talk to me 00:30, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

They are right that the talk page is not the appropriate place to raise your concerns and ANI would be more appropriate. Personally Will, I would advise you against pursuing anything, since low-activity editors that are not as experienced in the rough and tumble ways of the drama boards such as yourself are not always given a fair shake at that place. Better to let someone else raise the concern. Should someone start a discussion you are free to provide your position. Take care.--The Devil's Advocate tlk. cntrb. 00:32, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Talk:Gamergate controversy shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
