[edit]License tagging for Image:Am sim.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Am sim.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:04, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- Do you have any plans to use this image on Wikipedia? It is likely that the cover depicted is copyrighted, in which case the image can only be used as "fair use". BigDT 10:55, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

No worries
[edit]To be honest, ever since AP.BOT made a mess of my CSI template, I have been feeling a little nonplussed. A little bit confused and not sure how to react. Streuth! Do I thank the bloke? Or do I simply treat it as a joke? To be more accurate, I was left stumped and speechless that anyone would, on the innocent pretence that they are "updating userbox drive", not take a look at their "good work" (which was a tangled mess of "I don't know which word to use") and leave it as such. But thankyou Jesus for somebody like you, Lady Aleena. I thank you. You are from now on my "honorary authorised personnel" at both my user and user talk pages at anytime. Hello, Wilfred Pau ... I recently encountered the article about Edna Tse while performing either New Page Patrol, Recent changes patrol, or Counter-Vandalism Unit activities, and in my opinion as a Wikipedia editor, it either lacks sufficient Attribution that it satisfies the notability criteria for Biographies, or it may violate the Conflict of interest guideline, or perhaps it reads like blatant Vanispmcruftisment.
The point is that I plan to tag Edna Tse (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) with either a {{prod}}
that explains my reasons why I believe that it should be deleted, or else a {{db-bio}}
tag for speedy deletion (CSD A7).
I have created this initial entry on your Talk page because you are either the original author of the article or a recent contributor to it; I will leave more detailed information regarding my specific concerns about the article on its Discussion page ... please respond either there or on this Talk page, instead of on my Talk page, in order to avoid fragmenting the conversation. —72.75.70.147 (talk · contribs) 20:47, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (Image:Nick waters.JPG)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Nick waters.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 03:32, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Wilfred Pau! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 11 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Carman M Tsang - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 16:48, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
Hello Wilfred Pau,
I'd like to aks if I could transfer this picture to commons, as your picture would also be useful in other wiki-projects...
--Anna reg (talk) 13:21, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
The article Carman M. Tsang has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Long-term unreferenced biography of a living person. No sources found to support the text (having searched in English and using Chinese name). Nothing useful at the article at zh.wikipedia. A search at the Cable TV Hong Kong website returns only 沒有相關資料!(No information!). Does not appear to meet the general notability guidelines.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Plad2 (talk) 20:49, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
