G'day!

[edit]

G'day there, WildWorks, and welcome to Wikipedia! Good authors are always welcome on the project, and I hope you like the place and decide to stick around!

We've got a few pages you might find helpful, such as:

It's all best summed up here: write from a neutral point of view, play nice with others, and don't let the rules get you down.

If you have any questions or need any help, my talkpage is always open for business, or you can see Wikipedia:Newcomers help page. Here's a tip to start you off: if you type four tildes (~~~~) at the end of any messages you leave on talkpages (like this one) Wikipedia will automatically insert your name and the current date and time after your message. Cool, eh? Happy editing!fuddlemark (befuddle me!) 02:26, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for adding the information to the page indicating the source and explaining the copyright status. There is a page on getting copyright permission which may be worth reading: Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. It would be outstanding if you could email the permissions information you recieved to the address on that page. Thanks, --TeaDrinker 08:28, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Andes Yue

Hi, I've left some suggestions at Talk:Andes Yue for improving the article. Hope this helps! - Fayenatic london (talk) 22:46, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chinese wikipedia

[edit]

Hi again, do you use the Chinese wikipedia enough to be able to propose deletion of zh:虹萱 as non-notable, please? I think the English article should be deleted, but the case would be clearer if the Chinese one had been deleted. - Fayenatic london (talk) 12:32, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
