Sock block

[edit]

I've blocked you indefinitely as a sock of user:Histopher Critchens. Please complain here (or, less convincingly, there) William M. Connolley (talk) 19:59, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Decline reason:

You look so much like the same user that I can't justify unblocking you. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:54, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I am not a "sock" of anyone. I see that this false allegation has been made here as well. This is uncalled for and I request to be unblocked.

Please see this: [1]. I reported this IP address after noticing the odd behavior on [2] wherein multiple IP addresses were coming in and each edit warring on the page, going against (in total) users Histopher Critchens, Fram, AlasdairGreen27, and Jeff5102. I could probably have also reported diffs like this one [3] but felt it sufficient at the time to report the three main recent addresses.

Again, I am not a "sock" of Histopher Critchens or anyone else and I request to have my account unblocked. Thank you.

Regarding [4]: some of us are perfectly capable of reading [5] and filing a report, thank you very much. Just because I may be new doesn't make me an idiot.

Unblocked

[edit]

After reviewing the situation (see discussion on Connolley's talk page), I am not fully convinced of the sock issue, so I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. Go forth and edit productively (if you need a place to do so, I'd be happy to put you to work!) AKRadeckiSpeaketh 23:32, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
