Dear Wikimonstruo,

I wrongly reverted your edits of the Centennial High School (Compton, California) article. I have restored the article back to its previous state.

Hello,

When you want to link to a Wikipedia article, please use WP:Wikilinks rather than external links. For example, instead of [http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Filipino Filipino], you can simply use [[Filipino]]. Thanks, Gurt Posh (talk) 15:24, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

school article guidelines

[edit]

Please, please read Wikipedia's guidelines on schools. Also note Wikipedia is not a directory- both of links to external sites (alumni sites, athletic sites, etc) and also of classes offered by the school. Please back up your additions with reliable sources in a good citation style, and don't replace edited text with your preferred version. You might want to read How to develop an article. tedder (talk) 16:34, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Clear credential

[edit]

What's a "clear credential" please? You keep removing the clarification tag from Centennial High School (Compton, California), but haven't clarified what it means yet. I don't see it in any of the references you provided, and can't find it online. Thanks, Gurt Posh (talk) 10:10, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for helping me out with this. "The Federal No Child Left Behind Act requires that all teachers in core subject areas meet certain requirements in order to be considered as “Highly Qualified” no later than the end of the 2006-07 school year. Minimum qualifications include: Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree, Possession of an appropriate California teaching credential, and Demonstrated competence in core academic subjects." An appropriate (or valid) California teaching credential is synonymous with a "Clear Credential", that is, the teacher has been cleared by the Sacramento because they have met specific requirements to X subject area. There is also the "Preliminary Clear Credential", which basically means that the teacher must go through two years of what is called Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment" training before they are approved with the "Clear Credential". Anyway, how do we adjust this on the Centennial article? --User:Wikimonstruo
