NBA player categories

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Just a note, I have removed the "Golden State Warriors" category from Harrison Barnes and Kent Bazemore. The rule for college and pro basketball players is that they officially become players once they play a real (regular season or playoff) game for the team. This is the point where they would actually get recognized by the franchise or school's records as a player for them and where the category would be applied. At this point, injury, trade or just not making the team could stop them from ever being a player for those teams. Thanks and happy editing. Rikster2 (talk) 12:04, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not remove citations or information sourced through citations simply because a link to a source is not working, as you did to Tristan Thompson. Dead links should not be deleted. Instead, please repair or replace the link, if possible, and ensure properly sourced information is retained. Often, a live substitute link can be found. Links not used as references, notes or citations are not as important, such as those listed in the "External links" or "Further reading" sections, but bad links in those sections should also be fixed if possible. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 02:35, 24 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2013–14 Golden State Warriors season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Wells Fargo Center (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Deletion of Ricky Castorena

[edit]

Hello. There was a page that I created for the author named Ricky Castorena. He was the author of the book entitled "The Marked". I don't understand why the page was deleted when it wasn't used for advertising, wasn't biased, and wasn't offensive in any way. I saw the tag on my wall saying that I needed to add references and I was beginning to but I am often busy with work. I find that it was deleted for no reason and the author does deserve to have a page on wikipedia.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Kevin Pamphile may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
