Paid editing
[edit]Prior to doing any further editing, please directly answer with only a "Yes" or a "No": Are you being paid or compensated to edit Wikipedia? Seraphimblade Talk to me 18:45, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
No
- Thanks for clarifying that. To be quite honest, you show a striking similarity to those who do, but I'll take your word for it. That being said, your editing is disruptive, especially your use of inappropriate sources in biographies of living people, such as blogs and Youtube. Prior to further editing BLPs, please review what makes a source reliable, and ensure that any references you use meet these standards. Also, please familiarize yourself with requirements of neutrality, especially due weight. We do not need an article to contain trivia and small details, it should be a broad overview of a subject. And some of your editing has looked quite promotional, hence the question regarding being paid. Seraphimblade Talk to me 18:49, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
Oh, and finally, please remember that we refer to people upon their first mention in an article by their first and last name. If they are commonly known by a nickname, we'd include that in quotes. Thereafter, they are referred to using just their last name, with no "Mr.", "Dr.", etc. So the first time is Jonathan "John" Doe, and after that he'd just be referred to as Doe. Seraphimblade Talk to me 18:50, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
You're welcome. I'm doing my best to continually edit and learn about how the system works, to create well-sourced articles, and trustworthy references. Got it about nicknames. I have been trying to "mix up" the name usage, so each sentence doesn't begin the same.
Do I need to take any further action regarding my "suspect behavior" of creating and improving wikipedia articles? WikiBear2000 (talk) 18:55, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
- No, not really. Just take a bit of time to review things. We certainly all were new once, but especially with BLPs, we want to take a lot of care. Seraphimblade Talk to me 20:19, 21 September 2017 (UTC)

Dodoodad.com as a source
[edit]Hi WikiBear2000. I noticed that you recently used dodoodad.com as a source for information in a biography of a living person, Amber Midthunder. I'm unable to find any evidence or discussion on how dodoodad.com could be a reliable source at all, much less the type of high-quality source required for biographical information. If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks.--Ronz (talk) 23:13, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
Amber Midthunder
[edit]Hey,Ronz I was watching a show Amber Midthunder was on (Legion FX), and did my best to cite the unsupported claims in her Wiki. If that site doesn't seem trustworthy, feel free to remove it. Thanks
The article Marc Mani has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Nothing to indicate he is notable
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. MensanDeltiologist (talk) 23:36, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
