Senarath Attanayake

This person, is the only wheelchair bound lawyer in Sri Lanka The first person in a wheelchair to enter politics in Sri Lanka The only person with a disability to hold a ministerial portfolio in Sri Lanka and act as a chief minister These are unique features in a country where persons with disabilities are still struggling for their rights Wije Wijeratnepp (talk) 11:01, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

Regarding submission Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Senarath Attanayake: I myself don't see how the subject is notable unless there is a supporting article regarding the rights of people with disabilities in Sri Lanka that would benefit from having this article linked to it. However, it is not entirely up to me, I have simply put the review on hold. I will take it off hold so different reviewer can make a decision in a more timely manner.
