Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Anthony Joshua, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Ring. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:58, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit reversion

[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. ~~~~ S Philbrick(Talk) 00:39, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Hi there. When you're adding references, it would be appreciated if you could use the cite template rather than just pasting in a URL between the reference tags. Just doing that means the reference is subject to link rot, whereas it's much easier to preserve references when the full citation template is used. It can be found here, with instructions for use. Thanks in advance. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 15:49, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I’m not sure exactly how to do it, I’ve tried a few times and I don’t want to mess things up. I also don’t know what link rot means. WifiFu (talk) 16:15, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Natalie Portman, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. It's perfectly acceptable to have relationship information in the lead. Please stop so others don't have to clean up after you. Sundayclose (talk) 20:13, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, there was no violation of Wiki’s copyright policy. Sentences were all re-worded from the source cited. Tell me exactly what was copyrighted and I will improve it. WifiFu (talk) 19:41, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
