A tag has been placed on Strong Cup, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Since i go to the school and i know about the strong cup and edited it. I think im in the clear here

Strong Cup

[edit]

A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Strong Cup, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but yours may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ~Matticus TC 10:05, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Objectives

[edit]

Im not trying to satisfy Wikipedia. Im trying to satisfy people who want to find out about the school and this is the only way they can do it. It is reference to the school funnily enough and im only trying to help people, im not kissing wikipedias behind by putting in articles. Im trying to help people.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Whoisthis2007 (talkcontribs)

Wikipedia is not a free web space provider. If an article does not satisfy Wikipedia's policies, then it either needs to be improved so it does or it must be removed altogether. An article or group of articles that would only be of use to a small group of people is sometimes referred to as a walled garden, and is best kept to your own blog, wiki, website, etc, not a public encyclopedia. Please read Wikipedia's guideline documents on notability and verifiability. Thank you. ~Matticus TC 10:19, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Strong Cup

[edit]

I've nominated Strong Cup, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Strong Cup satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Strong Cup and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Strong Cup during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. ~Matticus TC 10:15, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

now

[edit]

since you have such a problem with an article that is only trying to help people from finding out information, i have extended the information on it. I hope you are happy and i hope you dont find a problem with 5 more lines in an article that means so much to you, even though you dont go to the school. Im sorry it has come to this but at the end of the day i was trying to help people. Why does it need a thrid party website. The school should be good enough. Look if you dont want people to be helped thats fine but i think you are in the wrong place.

Please make an effort to be civil, the tone of your comments to Matticus on his talk page suggests that your school has some way to go in instilling good manners (as well as spelling competence) in its students. Bear in mind that if you continue to be aggressive to users (other than myself), you can blocked from editing for a variable period of time. thanks. Jimfbleak 11:58, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'd concur, from a similar slap on my own user page.  Ravenswing  16:07, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Understanding Wikipedia

[edit]

Thank you for your civility on my post/talk page. I appreciate the fact that you took time to read what I have written. The thing that you need to understand about Wikipedia is that it is something intended to hold information that is useful to all. It is not a record book of wins and losses. The page you created about Strong Cup seems to be a bias article. It is written in a way that reads like a newspaper article about an underdog team defeating a juggernaut. I appreciate that you want to share your information with us and it is interesting, but you might want to consider rewriting your article in notepad or another word processor and then uploading it so that it does not appear to fail WP:NOTABILITY. So at this point, I would recommend trying to save your head from being blacklisted by admins and just letting the deletion take its course and try to rewrite the article and upload it in a few days. Just make sure that you cite some sort of source, provide a NPOV, and ensure that it is notable. PS- Please sign your comments by typing four successive ~ at the end of your posts. If you have any further questions feel free to contact me! Happy editing! Plm209(talk to me contribs) 13:16, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

[edit]

This article was not intended to be bias, after all i am part of Farmer house (the team who lost it) its just something like this doesnt happen very often and i thought it would add some weight to the article

Blanking talk page

[edit]

Please do not remove warning messages from your own talk page, it is considered uncivil and deceptive. Repeatedly doing this might lead you to being blocked.

Instead if you want to clean up the talk page, you can archive the current messages. Take a look at WP:ARCHIVE. --soum talk 16:32, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalizing /4/

[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. soum talk 16:38, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

Hey, cheer up. I saw your article on the AfD page, it's a good article, but they're pretty hard on school stuff around here. Why not try writing about something you really like or know something about as well? Even just adding something to an article you look up on here? There's no point vandalising stuff or getting upset, it's not worth it. It can be pretty harsh around here but hey, that's life. You're up for it, aren't you? You're a good writer, show them that.
