Pending Changes

[edit]

why do my changes go to pending review, when I'm extended confirmed

there are people with lower permissions that get [automatically accepted] when I have a large number of edits and mine go to [pending review]

this can be seen here: https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Steve_Smith_(cricketer)&action=history

this new user is reverting my edits while I get put to pending DiamondIIIXX (talk) 05:49, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@DiamondIIIXX: I'm not sure. I just review. You might want to ask at the Teahouse though! WhoAteMyButter (📨📝) 05:53, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Pedro Almodovar

[edit]

Hello, WhoAteMyButter

I am just a noble student who feels they lost a shred of dignity for the Spanish filmmaking community after reading this page. Some of the works by Mr. Almodovar should at least be censored to the public, as I wish I did not lay my eyes upon that disgusting title. Nothing has to be removed, only slightly altered in order to create a more honorable depiction of his legacy.

Also, I ate your butter.

Best Regards,

Hi! Per WP:CENSOR, "Attempting to ensure that articles and images will be acceptable to all readers, or will adhere to general social or religious norms, is incompatible with the purposes of an encyclopedia.", so, Wikipedia does not censor words like 'fuck', even if it "dishonors" something. (Exceptions for WP:BLP) Hope this explains. WhoAteMyButter (📨📝) 03:22, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! May I ask you a few questions? 1. Are you just an everyday citizen or do you work for Wikipedia? 2. What time is it where you are? 3. How is your March Madness bracket going? ClemsonFan51 (talk) 03:33, 23 March 2021 (UTC) ClemsonFan51[reply]

I'm just an everyday person. I'm in the EST timezone. I haven't kept a bracket. WhoAteMyButter (📨📝) 03:36, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for bothering you, I was only doing that since my school uses Pedro Almodovar as an icon and I was shocked to find this on the Wikipedia page. Im not sure what got into me last night to change it.

@ClemsonFan51: It's alright, man. It's all part of the WP:BRD cycle. (Well, CENSORing isn't, but, revert and discuss is...) WhoAteMyButter (📨📝) 02:50, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
