As per this note above. Wikipedia needs to be based on published review article. If you need help accessing any drop me a note.Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 21:23, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
As an attorney you are more than welcome to contribute to medical articles ( as is everyone else ). Here is the paper you were trying to use properly formatted Sinatra ST (2000). "Alternative medicine for the conventional cardiologist". Heart Dis. 2 (1): 16–30. PMID 11728240..
One should however try to use something published in the last 5 years as per the link above. Also the journal this was published in does not appear to be the best [2] as it is now no longer in publication.Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 21:34, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
We are more than happy to have your help improving Wikipedia's medical. There are over 20,000 medical pages and only a few dozen people editing extensively. I am unable to get access to the paper listed above. One of the problems is this topic area is dealt with over many pages and of course there is a great deal of literature on it. If you look at Atherosclerosis it is dealt with in greater detail.Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 21:41, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This might be a better reference for what you wish to write about being more recent review:

  • Van Horn L, McCoin M, Kris-Etherton PM; et al. (2008). "The evidence for dietary prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease". J Am Diet Assoc. 108 (2): 287–331. doi:10.1016/j.jada.2007.10.050. PMID 18237578. {{cite journal}}: Explicit use of et al. in: |author= (help); Unknown parameter |month= ignored (help)CS1 maint: multiple names: authors list (link)
  • Mente A, de Koning L, Shannon HS, Anand SS (2009). "A systematic review of the evidence supporting a causal link between dietary factors and coronary heart disease". Arch. Intern. Med. 169 (7): 659–69. doi:10.1001/archinternmed.2009.38. PMID 19364995. {{cite journal}}: Unknown parameter |month= ignored (help)CS1 maint: multiple names: authors list (link)

I can probably get you a full copy if you wish. We are Wikipedia are seriously understaffed! :-)Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 21:46, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Do not worry about anything you wrote. I have been around here a long time and have developed a thick skin. It takes time to learn how Wikipedia works and we where all are starting out once. I hope you decide to stay and help improve things.Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 22:33, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
