Max Cream

[edit]

If you are indeed Max Cream then you should NOT be editing an article about yourself, please see WP:COI as to why. Regards, GiantSnowman 19:01, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia requires reliable sources to verify any and all information. It does NOT allow points of view or original research, which is what you have been adding to the article. Because you continue to edit both against Wikipedia's principles AND on an article about yourself, I would kindly ask you to change the article back to the earlier version - I won't touch the article due to the WP:3RR rule - or I will be forced to ask for help in the situation from administrators. Thanks and regards, GiantSnowman 19:10, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. GiantSnowman 19:27, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Saying that your version is the "correct original" displays very worrying signs of article ownership. What reliable sources confirm your trials with these clubs? The version that I prefer may be "bland" to you, but, trust me, it looks much better. As for these "incorrect statistics" - they may be wrong, but they are at least sourced, and you have not provided any better sources to contradict them. Finally, again, I ask that you do not edit an article about yourself - I advise that you familiarise yourself with Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, and also contribute to the aforementioned discussion at the administrator's noticeboard. Thanks and regards, GiantSnowman 19:59, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks, I'll adjust the article according to Wikipedia's rules and regulations, incorporating the new information. Thanks and regards, GiantSnowman 20:51, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have added all the relevant information from those sources you provided, and presented them in a way which Wikipedia needs - i.e. referenced and neutral. Hope this is more to your liking. Thanks and regards, GiantSnowman 21:14, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the clarification and additional sources, I will adjust the article accordingly when I have time tomorrow. Any more problems/issues, just let me know - as I said, for obvious reasons Wikipedia doesn't like people editing about themselves. Thanks and regards, GiantSnowman 23:11, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've adjusted the article accordingly. Thanks and regards, 13:07, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
I've re-worded it now. Thanks and regards, GiantSnowman 16:47, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck at Wexford Max Hsetne (talk) 18:56, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Snowman, lastly the article states I returned to Poppies in October, but the first match I played for them after my return was on the 28th of Sept. the match report incorrectly does not have my listed in the 11 but if you read the match report, my name is mentioned throughout and I was never with Poppies in 2011, I had left the club shortly after my last involvement in November 2010. Thanks.

Hi Snowman, why has the photo now been taken off of the page?

Wexford

[edit]

Hi Max, no source was provided for you leaving Wexford, and those edits were made by an anonymous user with no edit summaries, so of course I was going to revert it; however, Transfermarkt had now been updated and so I have updated the article accordingly.
