Hello, Westerei, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

User Review

[edit]

Peer Review: Alex Gluck Following the Lead –I felt that the lead before her edits was informative, but possibly too bogged down by facts. Much of what was said in it could be moved to other sections. –Upon reading the full article, I still maintain that much of what could be said in the lead could have been said in other sections, and in some cases this happened. –Talk about the follow-up events are redundant, as they are a very small facet of the March and are featured in the lead. Furthermore, the lead focuses on the Washington March, whereas the article mostly examines on the march with a worldwide focus. A Clear Structure I believe that the sections are very well organized, they are mostly chronological, starting with the pre-planning and then ending with the events following the march. A Balancing Act It is very well-balanced, my only advice would be to combine the "political figures" and "additional celebrity participation" tabs.

Neutral Content –The article content is fairly biased at it's core, but the article does a good job of trying to describe what transpired without bias.

Reliable Sources –There are oodles of sources, and some are biased or "low-brow" but with an event as recent as this it is hard to find numerous academic sources.

Share the Love I believe that she chose the best choice of action in choosing to edit the lead. The lead is by far the most bogged down portion of the article and is in need of help, and it is also very easy to manage. I found many things I can apply to my own shambles of an article, which I hope to do over many months of correcting the dumpster fire that is my article.
