Hi, there Still in my learning process.
Feedback on common carrier edits
[edit]Nice start, the overall amount of edits is on the very low side of a "substantial" improvement. JMB — Preceding unsigned comment added by JMBauer (talk • contribs) 21:18, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Additional feedback from Johannes M. Bauer
[edit]You made a substantive edit but also misnamed a law: the "Communication Act 1996" should be "Telecommunications Act of 1996". The provisions regarding open video systems seemed important then but did not turn out to be significant. Other laws in regulatory initiatives superseded the idea. In that sense, the passage starting with "Further, ..." is not critical. --JMBauer (talk) 22:25, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
Note from Johannes M. Bauer
[edit]Wenjuan, please post the topic of your term project with 6-8 references on your user page (and upload it to the ANGEL dropbox, too). Greetings, --JMBauer (talk) 20:19, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
Note from JM Bauer
[edit]I can't find the edits for group project 2 (on wireless). Are you using a different user name? Please advise. --JMBauer (talk) 20:24, 29 March 2011 (UTC)

) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Copyright problems with Wenjuanma/sandbox
[edit]Hello. Concerning your contribution, Wenjuanma/sandbox, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://arstechnica.com/telecom/news/2009/11/european-union-calls-for-digital-bonus-after-dtv-transition.ars. As a copyright violation, Wenjuanma/sandbox appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Wenjuanma/sandbox has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.
If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA) then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Wenjuanma/sandbox and send an email with the message to permissions-enwikimedia.org. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that it is licensed under the CC-BY-SA license, leave a note at Talk:Wenjuanma/sandbox with a link to where we can find that note.
- If you hold the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the CC-BY-SA and GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Wenjuanma/sandbox.
However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While contributions are appreciated, Wikipedia must require all contributors to understand and comply with its copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you.
Note. I've changed the speedy delete reason this page as I believe you meant to create it as a user sandbox, however as you did not start the new page name with "User:" (or "User talk:") it was created in article space. Normally I'd move the page to it's correct location but in this case it seems a clear copyright violation so I've requested speedy deletion for that reason instead. Problems with upload of File:AWS.png

We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

Feedback for wiki entry - Post digital television transition issues
[edit]This is a very interesting and important topic. It has very rich content. There are mainly two issues: spectrum and public interest regulation. Both of them are very important. Below are some small questions/suggestions for this entry : ) 1.May have some more sub-headings? 2.Instead of using “public interest regulation,” maybe could just use the “public interest,” without “regulation”? Because it is not to regulate the public interest, but to use public interest as a goal or criteria for regulation? 3.I will be interested in things like where is the spectrum of digital dividend (e.g. The Digital Dividend spectrum is located between 200 MHz and 1GHz. This spectrum band offers an excellent balance between transmission capacity and distance coverage. - http://www.gsmworld.com/our-work/public-policy/spectrum/digital-dividend/digital_dividend.htm) 4.May have some links to the Wikipedia 5.Maybe you could add some references All in all, I think this is a good and important entry :) --Oceanski (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 21:50, 2 May 2011 (UTC).
Comment from Shinya
[edit]You did a great job. Your entry is interesting for me because I'm interested in swichover to digital broadcasting and how to use digital dividend. You successfully covered possible usage list, reallocation procedure and international information especially in the U.S and Europe. This issue is very hard to summarize because it has both technological and political/policy matter. Regarding Japan, for reference, digital divident will be used for 1) new terrestrial mobile broadcast, 2) public safety, 3) mobile communication, and 4) Intelligent Transport System (ITS). http://www.soumu.go.jp/main_sosiki/joho_tsusin/eng/presentation/pdf/090619_1.pdf (pp10) Actually, it is not clear if these new usages could benefit us because detailed arguments are not made yet and firms think new mobile broadcast would be difficult to success commercially. Anyway, sorry for making comment so late.
