Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Wendell guan, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Remember that you should paraphrase, not quote
[edit]Hi Wendell - I got an alert that you may have introduced an edit that's a copy of another page. Be sure that you revise the contribution so that you paraphrase rather than copying, and be sure to include the source of the information in your recommended change.
Good work getting some changes started for your assignment, though! AmyFou (talk) 23:09, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
Copyright/plagiarism
[edit]Hi, I saw that you took content verbatim from the Hong Kong government's website. This is a copyright issue since the HK government doesn't allow for its content to be used commercially, whereas Wikipedia does. Always be careful when it comes to content, as it's often better to re-write it in your own words since most content is released under copyrights that wouldn't be compatible with Wikipedia. I can see where this would be an honest mistake to make, but just in case I would like for you to review the module on plagiarism and copyright, thanks.
